On behalf of a successful Swiss SME in mechanical and plant engineering, we are filling a newly created position: As an export specialist, you take responsibility for the worldwide shipping of high-quality systems and spare parts. You are close to the customer and take the lead in ensuring smooth processes.
Your Tasks
- Creating export and customs documents including packing lists
- Daily contact with freight forwarders, customers, and authorities in Europe, USA, Middle East, Asia, and Africa
- Organizing various transports (including express cases) and coordinating with logistics, assembly, sales, and after-sales
- Ensuring compliance with export regulations and internal processes
- Close collaboration with sales and other internal interfaces
- Shaping and further developing export processes in a newly created position
Your Profile
- Completed technical or commercial basic training
- Further training as a foreign trade specialist with a federal diploma, export/import clerk or similar is an advantage
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position in an international environment, preferably in mechanical or plant engineering or in a technical field
- Very good German and English skills (spoken and written), Italian / French is an advantage
- Proficient in SAP and MS Office 365
- High initiative: You help build the position, contribute ideas, and like to take initiative
- Resilient, precise, communicative, and a team player
- Familiar with SME mentality: flexible, pragmatic, respectful, and reliable
