SAP Basis Application Manager 100%The Office for Informatics (AFI) is the IT competence center of the Canton of Zurich.
It provides comprehensive services in the area of central IT infrastructure and canton-wide
applications for directorates, authorities, judiciary, and independent institutions.
Commissioned with the implementation of the new Information and Communication Technology (ICT) strategy, the office accompanies the canton in the digital world.
For the stable operation and further development of our outsourced SAP system landscapes (SAP S/4 HANA, GRC, PO, BTP, CALM...), the Application Management department is looking for you as an SAP Basis Manager immediately or by agreement.
You think administration is boring! Then let yourself be convinced otherwise. In this role, you have the opportunity to work with the new "worlds": BTP, CALM, RISE! Be part of the canton of Zurich as it advances its cloud strategy and take an active role. All this in a highly complex but also innovative environment.
Your tasks:
- Ensuring and monitoring a stable and trouble-free operation of the SAP business applications
- Ensuring support including consulting and coordination (troubleshooting, performance, monitoring, and alerting)
- System optimizations including error analysis as well as developing concepts and processes to optimize operations
- Support of the existing SAP system landscape (PCE, BTP) including upgrades/new installations and system copies together with the provider and solution partners
- Printer and job management
- Automation of recurring tasks
- Participation and/or subproject management in projects
- SAP RISE and BTP platform management
Your profile:
- Higher technical education in computer science or comparable training/continuing education
- Several years of professional experience in SAP ERP, SAP NetWeaver as well as solid SAP HANA knowledge
- Knowledge in web technologies such as SAP Webdispatcher, SAPUI5, web services, SAML2, certificates
- Practical experience with our growth area SAP Cloud (BTP, SAC, CALM, SAP RISE)
- Good technical knowledge and experience in operating systems and databases (HANA), networks and IT security, analytical and systematic working style, strong communication skills, good German and English skills
