The Insurance and Risk Management Competence Center is integrated into the General Secretariat of the Department of Finance and manages the operational risks of the state administration and those of the public-law institutions as an in-house broker. This area of responsibility includes comprehensive insurance technical advice to our departments on insurance matters, prevention, insurance contracts, as well as independent claims settlement. The range of tasks extends across all sectors of property, personal, and financial loss risks (self-financing and external financing of risks).

Insurance Specialist (m/f/d)

What to expect
- Contact person and advisor for our departments and insurance partners
- Creating risk and needs analyses, tendering insurance solutions, price-performance comparisons, and concluding insurance contracts
- Independent settlement of damages or claims for damages in self-financing or together with our insurance partners in external financing
- Insurance technical management of the motor vehicle fleet (damages, repair offers, insurance certificates, mutations, and premium calculation)
- Co-responsible for administrative tasks such as brokerage fee accounting, damage and premium payments, internal premium calculations, and recording payment flows.
What distinguishes you
- Federal specialist certificate in insurance, equivalent qualifications, or willingness to achieve these in cooperation with us
- Several years of experience in the insurance business, preferably with an insurance broker or a general agency
- Strong service orientation and sense of responsibility
- Trustworthy and integral personality with pronounced teamwork skills
