Auxiliary collaborator for reception and admissions in Psychiatry
The Department of Psychiatry is offering a position for an auxiliary collaborator for reception and admissions at the hospitalization sites of Cery, Prangins, and Yverdon. The working hours are variable (night work, weekends, and public holidays).
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Department of Psychiatry consists of 11 services addressing the three stages of life. It covers the Central, Western, and Northern psychiatric sectors of the canton. Its mission is the comprehensive and multidisciplinary care of children, adolescents, adults, and elderly people suffering from mental disorders. Caregivers provide acute care to patients but also offer outpatient follow-ups and support in their usual living environment.
Mission
- You ensure the reception of patients and their relatives, as well as visitors and collaborators, respecting the guiding principles of CHUV
- You manage telephone calls according to quality standards
- You handle the administrative management of outpatient and/or inpatient admissions, in accordance with current procedures and directives
- You perform various administrative and logistical tasks.
Profile
- You hold an AFP diploma as an office assistant or office employee
- You have good professional experience in a reception and front desk role (preferably in a medical or hotel environment)
- You have a sense of organization, versatility, autonomy, responsibility, and hospitality
- You are proficient with computer tools (MS Office)
- You enjoy teamwork
- You demonstrate proactivity, dynamism, and good stress management
- You are flexible regarding working hours (irregular, day, night, weekends, and public holidays).
