We start our trainee program for future top talents each year on September 1st of the current calendar year. Come on board and become part of our "Trainee@SMO" community.
What is the trainee program about?
- As part of the two-year trainee program, you will get to know two of three railway technologies (signal boxes, control technology, train control) intensively and receive broad training
- You will be supervised by a mentor, regularly exchange ideas with other trainees, and actively participate in projects
- A multi-week, project-dependent assignment abroad is also part of the trainee program
- You can expect a diverse training spectrum (courses, on-the-job training, eLearnings, etc.) to build and deepen skills
- You will be prepared for demanding positions and take responsibility for your further career from the start
Your talents and skills
- Master's degree from a Swiss university in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or a comparable technical field of study
- Very good academic performance
- A proactive and flexible personality with a high willingness to learn and perform
- Joy and enthusiasm in developing ideas as a team and taking responsibility
- Strong communication skills in German and English
