Research Officer for the Autism Spectrum Disorders Service
The Autism Spectrum Disorders & Related Service (STSA) is looking for a 40% research officer for the Cantonal Autism Center (CCA) of the Department of Psychiatry, in Lausanne, starting November 1, 2025.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in medical care, research, and training.
The Department of Psychiatry cares for patients of all three life stages in the Central, Western, and Northern regions of the canton of Vaud. It offers a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to mental health, from diagnosis to specialized support.
The Autism Spectrum Disorders & Related Service coordinates diagnostic, intervention, follow-up, and research systems throughout the canton in the field of autism. It notably includes a tertiary center, hospitalization units, regional structures, mobile teams, two early intervention centers, as well as a hospital reception system for people with ASD or intellectual disabilities.
Multidisciplinary, the service integrates psychiatrists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, neuropediatricians, speech therapists, psychomotor therapists, specialized educators, and researchers, working closely together in the service of patients.
Mission
- You participate in recruiting study participants
- You manage clinical evaluations and the database
- You handle administrative tasks related to your activity
- You take part in clinical research conducted within the service
- You ensure follow-up with parents of children with ASD benefiting from an intervention program.
Profile
- You hold a Master’s degree in psychology
- You have initial experience in research and/or clinical work with children presenting ASD
- A good knowledge of assessment tools for the diagnostic and functional evaluation of children with ASD is an asset
- The salary grade will be defined according to your profile.
