About the role and responsibilities
In this role, you have the opportunity to perform service work according to work instructions and in compliance with ABB quality and safety guidelines. You provide high-quality customer service daily, plan and carry out service work according to customer orders and expectations. You also demonstrate your expertise by ensuring customer retention through effective communication of the timeframe and expectations for the service work.

This role is part of electrification, service nationwide in Switzerland.

You will mainly be responsible for:
Responsibility for technical tasks at the customer site in the medium and low voltage area.
Responsibility for schedule, quality, and cost targets as well as collaboration with service project management and field service management.
Communication of necessary changes according to quality assurance, compliance with work instructions, regulations, and safety standards, as well as submission of time reports and expenses.
Informing customers about the service offerings of ELSE and ABB Switzerland AG and acquiring additional orders.
Qualifications for the role
Completed training as an electrician or automation technician with several years of professional experience, ideally complemented by knowledge in copper construction and mechanical processing
Solid knowledge in electrical and automation technology as well as handling mechanical machines
Strong affinity for processes and structured work along defined procedures
Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical content clearly and customer-oriented
High quality awareness, personal responsibility, as well as flexibility and resilience
Good MS Office skills as well as willingness to travel extensively and be on call within Switzerland
Very good German skills, basic knowledge of English (French is an advantage), and a valid category B driving license
