What to expect
During your three-year training as a logistician specializing in warehouse and logistics, you will be supervised by experienced professionals. They will introduce you to the diverse activities of a modern trading company. Your tasks include:
- Goods receipt and dispatch: You check incoming goods, verify their completeness and quality, and prepare them for storage or further transport.
- Warehouse management: You learn how to properly store and organize goods. This also includes inventory management and stocktaking tasks.
- Order picking and packaging: You assemble orders, pack them securely, and prepare them for shipping.
- Use of modern IT systems: You work with various warehouse management systems and learn how digitalization and automation are used in logistics.
- Safety and quality standards: You familiarize yourself with applicable safety regulations and ensure compliance with quality standards in all work areas.
Through these activities, you gain comprehensive knowledge and skills in the warehouse and logistics sector, providing you with a solid foundation for your professional future.
