The Yverdon Foundation for Childcare is a private foundation of public interest that manages 4 day care institutions, under the mandate of the Yverdon-les-Bains and surrounding areas Children's Daycare Network (REAJY).
The FYAE has a central kitchen, a logistics and technical service, and a centralized general administration that supports more than 150 employees who work daily and together to ensure quality care for the approximately 420 registered children.
The "Tom Pouce" Children's House is located at 19 Rue d'Orbe in Yverdon-les-Bains. The Children's House
Tom Pouce welcomes 59 children divided into 3 groups (Nurseries, Walkers, and Big Kids).
To strengthen our educational team and guarantee the quality of our mission, we are looking for:
An ES / HES Educator
60% Permanent Contract (MONDAY - THURSDAY - FRIDAY)
Sector: Walkers
Main missions
Ensure quality daily care for children in an extra-family collective structure
Support the child's overall development
Collaborate with families and support parenting
Collaborate with teams, management, and partner networks
Support learners (FPP training would be a plus but is not required)
Required skills
Professional experience, minimum 2 years, in childhood and/or specialized fields
Ability to implement, question, and develop the institution's educational project
Ability to manage a group of children and handle its dynamics professionally, appropriately, and autonomously
Observation, analysis, and synthesis skills regarding encountered situations
Ease in collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
Aptitude for self-evaluation and developing reflective action
Organized, committed, versatile, flexible, and reliable
PF training is a plus
Experience in supporting children with special needs is a plus
