Physiotherapist in the Women-Mother-Child Department
To strengthen our team, the Women-Mother-Child Department (DFME) of the CHUV is looking for physiotherapists with an activity rate between 60% and 100%, for a fixed-term contract from February to August 2026.
This position allows you to work in a university hospital environment, at the heart of specialized care for women and children.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in medical care, research, and education.
The Women-Mother-Child Department (DFME) brings together the gynecology, obstetrics, neonatology, pediatrics, and child and adolescent surgery services. More than 1,500 professionals work there daily to ensure comprehensive, specialized, and multidisciplinary care for women and children, from birth to adolescence.
Mission
- You perform therapeutic physiotherapy activities in the various sectors covered by the team, including hospitalization, intensive care, continuous care, the recovery room, emergency, and outpatient sector.
- You also work in the fields of gynecology and maternity, in pre- and post-partum care.
- You provide services with irregular hours (day, evening, night, weekend) for the entire department.
Profile
- You hold a HES Physiotherapist Diploma or an equivalent recognized title, with mandatory Swiss Red Cross recognition.
- You have experience in pediatric physiotherapy, an asset.
- You have experience in the rehabilitation of major burn victims, an asset.
- You are dynamic, organized, rigorous, and have good adaptability skills.
- You appreciate teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Depending on your profile, the salary class is between levels 8 and 9.
