We are looking for a Team Leader Communication Technologies to join us and lead the development of robust, secure, and future-ready embedded software solutions that connect our products to the digital world. You will play a key role in shaping how our devices communicate, collaborate, and perform in real industrial environments. In this role, you bring together people, technology, and processes to drive our embedded communication platforms forward. You work closely with R&D, hardware, and product management teams in our Reinach site, contributing to a collaborative and innovative engineering culture.
Which tasks will you perform?
You will:
- Lead and support an embedded software team, providing both technical and people leadership through regular feedback, coaching, and development discussions.
- Coordinate embedded software development activities and ensure projects are delivered on time and to high quality standards.
- Promote a collaborative, open, and innovative team culture where ideas are shared and improvements are encouraged.
- Define and review software architectures for embedded communication systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Support complex debugging and integration of hardware and software components in close collaboration with other engineering teams.
- Drive continuous improvement in development practices, including Clean Code, test-driven development, and CI/CD processes.
What do we expect from you?
You:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Bring at least 5–7 years of experience in embedded software development, including experience in leading or mentoring teams.
- Have strong skills in C/C++, RTOS environments such as Zephyr or Embedded Linux, and communication protocols like Bluetooth LE and IoT technologies.
- Are familiar with agile ways of working, test-driven development, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Communicate clearly and confidently in both English and German.
Preferred experience:
- Knowledge of industrial communication standards and security (IEC 62443).
- Experience with low-power wireless systems and sensor integration.
