Social Office Graubünden Social Worker | 60–100 % | Chur
The cantonal social office fulfills the task of personal social and addiction assistance on behalf of the municipalities and supports people in accessing economic social assistance. To this end, it operates eight regional social services in the regions of the canton.
The regional social service Chur/Plessur/Imboden is responsible for ten municipalities with a catchment area of
67,000 people.
Social counseling, addiction assistance, and financial support
We are looking for the location Chur as of January 1, 2026 or by agreement a social worker. The position is currently limited until October 31, 2026. There is likely an option to extend the employment.
- Solution- and resource-oriented social counseling for individuals and families
- Access to social insurance benefits as well as economic social assistance
- Counseling of recognized and provisionally admitted refugees and foreigners regarding linguistic, professional, and social integration
- Collaboration with social authorities and specialized agencies
- Other diverse, interesting, and responsible tasks
- Completed training as a social worker BSc/FH or a degree in a comparable education
- Enjoy working with people from different social and/or cultural backgrounds
- Advisory competence as well as expertise in social assistance law and social insurance
- Outgoing, resilient, team player, good communication, organizational and administrative skills
- Ideally good foreign language skills
- Independent and solution-oriented work
