Team Leader Bar Assortment German & Foreign Languages
To complement our team, we are looking for a motivated person as Team Leader Bar Assortment German & Foreign Languages, starting immediately or by arrangement.
Your exciting task
- Leading, promoting, and further developing the team
- Building and implementing a purchasing strategy in the bar assortment
- Market observation and competitor analysis
- Independent support of individual publishers in the English trade in daily business
- Maintaining contact with publishers, suppliers, and KAM customers
- Inventory management according to economic and qualitative specifications
- Evaluation of new suppliers (processing publisher inquiries and acquisition) as well as optimization of purchasing conditions
- Contract management and preparation of offers
- Planning and implementation of ideal sourcing paths
- Specialist customer support (providing information, consulting), partly direct customer contact
- Development of promotions for retail in close cooperation with sales
- Ensuring availability
What you bring with you
- You bring solid experience in the book trade as well as further training in category management (advantageous)
- You have good business management knowledge and act with negotiation skills and assertiveness
- In your role as team leader, it is advantageous if you have already gained leadership experience
- You like to prioritize and structure and appreciate organizing your work independently
- You speak and write German at a native level and additionally have good English skills
- As a communicative, team-oriented, and resilient personality, you put the customer at the center and orient yourself to their needs
