Social Services Office | 70% | Chur
The Cantonal Social Services Office ensures services that support social and professional integration, participation, and the guarantee of social existence for families, children and youth, people with disabilities, as well as socially disadvantaged or economically weaker individuals, victims of (domestic) violence, and people with addiction problems. It plans, promotes, and monitors needs-based offers and structures, which are guaranteed by its own counseling services and in collaboration with various partners. As an officer in charge, you will independently perform tasks in the migration sector that fall under the competence of the Social Services Office. This competence includes recognized refugees, provisionally admitted refugees, provisionally admitted persons with a stay of over seven years (AP 7+), as well as persons with S protection status living in individual accommodations. Additionally, you support the various sections of the Social Services Office from an organizational perspective.
For the migration coordination service, we are looking for an officer in charge starting June 1, 2026, or by agreement.
- Handling administrative activities related to initial support and first placement of refugees and unaccompanied minor refugees following an asylum decision.
- Coordination tasks regarding current topics in the migration sector (e.g., S protection status)
- Support for the team management in ensuring administrative quality and in developing procedures and processes
- Performing general secretarial and administrative tasks together with the administration team
- Collaboration with relevant disciplinary sectors of the Social Services Office, other cantonal services, the State Secretariat for Migration, and other organizations
- Completed basic commercial training
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Word and Excel
- Independent, responsible, and proactive working method
- Attitude towards supporting and accompanying people
- Knowledge of the cantonal official languages is an advantage
