Contract duration: 1 year, renewable 2 x 2 years, maximum 5 years
Work rate: 100%

Your Activities
The position is under the responsibility of Professor J. Philipp Trein. The holder is expected to develop work on administration and public policies from a comparative approach.
In your duties, you will be required to:
- Dedicate 50% of your work rate to completing a doctoral thesis.
- Dedicate 50% of your work rate to supporting teaching and research tasks (teaching activities under the responsibility of a professor, research work not related to personal research, and activities related to the life of the affiliated unit).

Your Profile
We wish to hire a person with the following profile:
- Master's degree in political science, public administration, economics, or an equivalent qualification
- Interest in pursuing research activities and developing a thesis in the field of administration and comparative public policies, linked to the research interests of Prof. J. Philipp Trein ( https://people.unil.ch/josefphilipptrein/ )
- Fluency in French (mandatory) and good knowledge of English
- Interest in teaching administration and public policies and health policy
- Interest in public administration, public policies, governance, health policy, social policy, environmental and climate policy, politics and artificial intelligence, migration policy
- Knowledge of quantitative methods in political analysis or strong motivation to learn them
- Organizational skills, ability to work autonomously and independently, and within a research team
