The Rämibühl Realgymnasium is a long-term secondary school with a classical and modern language profile. 120 teachers and 30 staff members guide around 900 students to the Swiss Matura and university entrance qualification – some also to the International Baccalaureate (IB). The attractive school facility is centrally located near the Zurich universities in the middle of the green Rämibühl Park.
We are looking for a head of central services from January 1, 2026, or by arrangement to support the school management. You report to the principal and lead approximately 40 employees in total.
Your tasks
Your area of responsibility includes managing the administration and operations departments. You are responsible for personnel administration, accounting, and the personnel management of all employees in the secretariat, building services, IT, media library, and scientific assistants. As the person responsible for the maintenance of the buildings and the entire infrastructure, you monitor budget compliance and plan investments. You support the school management, among other things, by representing the school to cantonal authorities (finance, personnel, construction), document management, preparing information, and other organizational tasks.
Your profile
We are looking for a reliable leader who is committed to our school system with high social and communication skills as well as a service-oriented mindset. You have advanced professional training in business administration, administration, or a technical field and can draw on several years of professional experience. You convince with professionalism and expertise and keep an overview of the diverse topics and tasks. Your flexibility benefits you in everyday school life. You appreciate direct contact with employees, teachers, and students; communicating appropriately to the audience comes easily to you. Additionally, you bring business management know-how and experience in process-oriented organizational development.
