Requirements & Business Analysis: Capture, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into epics and user stories.
Backlog Management: Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog to maximize value and ensure alignment with stakeholder and regulatory requirements.
Solution Design & Processes: Design and optimize IT solutions as well as the associated processes in close collaboration with business units, IT, and external providers.
Stakeholder Management: Proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders, managing dependencies and risks, and ensuring their needs are considered in the product.
Agile Product Ownership: Taking on the product owner role in the agile (SAFe) payment team and working closely with the scrum master and development team.
Product Vision & Strategy: Developing and communicating a clear product vision and strategy for the IT payment product in line with corporate goals.
Customer Satisfaction & Improvement: Continuous improvement of the product and associated processes based on feedback and KPIs.
PI & Sprint Planning: Preparing and participating in agile planning events (e.g., PI planning, sprint planning, refinement) and ensuring backlog items are ready and understood.
University degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable field
3–5 years of professional experience as a business analyst, product owner, or in a similar role in the cash & payment area or financial sector
Practical experience with Avaloq or a comparable core banking platform in an operational or change context
Strong team and collaboration skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
Solid, practical experience with agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex issues, structure them clearly, and support data-driven decisions
High customer orientation and ability to translate customer needs into product requirements
Experience with built-in quality (shift-left, DevOps, quality assurance) is an advantage; excellent English skills and good German skills
