Fullstack Developer (m/f/d) – Headless E-Commerce & E-Commerce Integration

Qualipet relies on modern technologies to continuously improve the shopping experience for animal lovers in Switzerland. Our system landscape is "state-of-the-art": We operate a modern headless/composable commerce architecture. To further increase our agility, we are looking for a skilled fullstack developer. You will work alongside our specialized lead agency and ensure that new features and bug fixes go live quickly, cleanly, and efficiently.

Your tech stack with us
• Frontend: Next.js (React), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
• Hosting & CI/CD: Vercel
• E-Commerce Core: commercetools
• Product Information: Plytix (PIM)
• Content & CMS: Hygraph (via GraphQL)
• Search & Discovery: Algolia

Your tasks

Agile development: Implementation of small to medium features and UI optimizations (Next.js/TypeScript)
Bug hunting & stability: Reproduce, analyze, fix errors – including clean releases and regression prevention
Interfaces & data flows: Ensure that data from PIM/CMS/Commerce reliably arrives in the frontend (GraphQL/REST, webhooks, indexing)
Collaboration: Close exchange with product management (internal project managers and product owners) and external agency (code reviews, handovers, technical coordination, architecture sparring)
Technical hygiene: Readable code, meaningful tests, clear documentation

Your profile

E-commerce understanding: You understand product data flows (PIM), catalog/checkout logic, and typical failure points in shop operation
Fullstack power: Very confident in TypeScript/JavaScript; solid experience with Next.js/React
API-first mindset: GraphQL is your daily routine (especially CMS/Commerce), you also master REST and auth/error handling
Efficiency & quality: You pragmatically use AI tools (e.g., for test scaffolding, error analysis, code navigation) but consistently pay attention to security, data/secrets, and code quality
Ownership: You can quickly read, understand, debug, and improve code – and reliably bring things to completion
Languages: German and English (collaboration with agency, documentation)
