Community Health and Care Assistant (ASSC) in the Neurology Department
The Department of Clinical Neurosciences is looking for a Community Health and Care Assistant (ASSC) at a workload between 80% - 100%, for its Neurology Department, to start on March 1, 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Department of Clinical Neurosciences (DNC) brings together the neurosurgery, neurology, neuropsychology, and neurorehabilitation services, the Leenaards Memory Center, as well as the Spinal Surgery Service. It offers integrated and personalized care to patients suffering from diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system.
The Neurology Department cares for patients suffering from central or peripheral nervous system disorders.
It treats multiple pathologies such as strokes, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, headaches, brain tumors, diseases affecting intellectual functions, and genetic diseases.
Mission
- You collaborate closely with the nursing team and other interdisciplinary professions in patient care
- You responsibly and autonomously support patients in aspects of care related to daily living activities
- You ensure the execution of care and monitoring delegated by qualified staff
- You perform medico-technical acts under supervision, in stable care situations
- You carry out administrative and logistical tasks related to patient care.
Profile
- You hold a Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a Community Health and Care Assistant (ASSC)
- You have an interest in neurological care
- You are a dynamic, committed, motivated person with a sense of responsibility
- You have a particular interest in participating in the development of new organizational models (nurse/ASSC pairs)
Depending on the candidate's experience, the salary class ranges between level 5 and 6.
