Performance Management:
Provide administrative support to management on policy implementation, operational advice, and assistance.
Ensure proper understanding and application of financial procedures by the accounting team according to the company manual.
Develop key relationships with department heads and executives for short- and long-term business support.
Assist in developing and implementing corrective action plans following internal/external audits and operational reports.
Promote understanding of financial impact within operational teams to drive performance.
Promote and maximize the GOP Theoretical Flow Through concept in operations.
Financial Planning, Reporting, and Analysis:
Assist in analyzing, interpreting, and communicating financial data to operations.
Assist the CFO with monthly and annual account closings and balance sheet reconciliations.
Support accounts payable and receivable (collections, cash registers) in daily operations, especially during peak seasons.
Occasionally assist purchasing and goods receiving departments as needed (e.g., end-of-season inventories).
Contribute to the preparation of the annual budget, investment budgets, and forecasts.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure financial reports comply with internal policies, the uniform chart of accounts, and contracts.
Maintain and analyze balance sheet accounts, validate reconciliations.
Guarantee availability of accurate financial and operational information and meet corporate deadlines.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations affecting the company.
Protect owners' interests in assets and operations.
Manage the retention of contracts, leases, and financial legal documents, keep the list of critical deadlines up to date.
Conduct regular operational risk assessments, maintain a risk register, prepare and monitor mitigation action plans.
Ensure accurate incident tracking and reporting according to company protocol.
Internal Control, Policies, and Procedures:
Have thorough knowledge of internal policies and procedures.
Participate in regular supervision and audit of internal control systems.
Ensure sufficient cash availability to meet operational needs.
