The Education Department provides central services for the operation and further development of the Thun public school.
We are looking for a
Your tasks:
- Leading and further developing the public school IT as well as its projects in close exchange with school management and IT services
- Advising and coordinating on pedagogical, technical, and structural questions regarding public school IT in collaboration with internal and external partners
- Preparing, conducting, and following up on meetings of the Public School IT Working Group (AIV)
- Professionally leading and supporting the IT specialists (SMI) in the performance of their tasks
- Planning and conducting further training and courses for teachers as well as supporting the implementation of the curriculum
- Handling the concerns of the schools
- Professionally managing and leading projects of the school administration software
- Writing concepts and reports
You bring with you:
- Training as a teacher, supplemented by IT-specific further education (e.g., FH, university, ETH)
- Solid knowledge and experience in the development and application of digital solutions in education
- Several years of experience in project management as well as in leading and coordinating teams
- Strong conceptual and strategic skills as well as an independent and structured way of working
- High social and communication skills, combined with organizational talent and confident appearance
