Graduate Assistant in Social Psychology
in the research team of Eva Green ( link ), Professor at the Social Psychology Laboratory (UNILaPS)
Job Information
Start date: August 1, 2026
Contract duration: 1 year, renewable 2 x 2 years, maximum 5 years
Work rate: 100%
Salary: according to UNIL scales (link)
Workplace: Lausanne Dorigny
Your Activities
Task description:
- At least 50% of the work rate will be dedicated to completing a doctoral thesis in the above-mentioned field (and doctoral training);
- Up to 50% of the work rate will be devoted to support tasks for teaching and research: support for course-seminar preparation, knowledge assessment and exam correction, assistance in supervising theses, participation in collective research activities related to cultural diversity and migration at UNIL, participation in activities of the Social Psychology Laboratory (UnilaPS) , the Institute of Psychology and/or the Faculty.
Your Profile
We wish to hire, to complete our team, a person with the following profile:
- A Master’s degree in psychology, social sciences or an equivalent qualification;
- A solid training in social psychology;
- A genuine interest in academic research and teaching;
- Proven knowledge in the field of intergroup relations;
- A strong interest in the field of migration;
- A strong motivation to conduct doctoral research in this area;
- Solid and varied quantitative methodological knowledge, with a particular interest in advanced statistical techniques;
- Relevant prior research experience;
- Very good command of French and scientific English, both written and oral;
- Motivation to participate in the activities of a research team and a doctoral school.
