About the job

As an accountant, you ensure that our numbers are correct and our financial processes grow with the company. You are responsible for financial accounting from A to Z and create transparency through reliable financial statements. At the same time, you actively contribute to the further development of our finance and purchasing processes, making an important contribution to sound decisions and the sustainable success of Arcplace.

• You manage our financial accounting and independently prepare monthly and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP.
• You are responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting as well as payment transactions.
• You prepare VAT returns for Switzerland and keep deadlines and requirements in view.
• You carefully manage our asset accounting and ensure a correct representation of assets. 
• As a contact person, you answer specialist questions from internal and external stakeholders. 
• You record, maintain, and keep projects and contracts up to date in Abacus.
• You think along, question existing processes, and actively contribute to optimizing our finance and purchasing processes.

• You have at least three years of professional experience in finance and accounting, ideally in a comparable role.   
• You have a commercial basic education; the Swiss federal diploma in finance and accounting is a plus.
• Very good user knowledge of Abacus (especially in financial accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, as well as project and contract management) and Excel are among your strengths.
• You are experienced in Swiss VAT accounting.
• You communicate fluently in German and have good English skills 
• An independent, structured, and very precise way of working is natural for you.
