The French Section of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Lausanne is offering a position for an assistant professor in French and Francophone literature.
Additional Information
Start date: February 1, 2026
Contract duration: two years, renewable once for 2 years, maximum 4 years. According to the current academic planning, this position is not intended to be permanent.
Work rate: 80%
Workplace: Lausanne-Dorigny
Your Activities
Teaching at Bachelor (BA1, BA2) and/or Master levels, 5 hours per semester, both in Literary Works and Genres and in Literary History.
Individual research.
Supervision of students, handling exams and theses.
Participation in research activities and administration of the Section.
Your Profile
PhD in Letters or equivalent degree (the thesis must have been submitted at the time of starting) with a specialization in French and Francophone literature.
