The Faculty Affairs team is part of the Prorectorate for Research and Faculty and ensures professional and high-quality recruitment processes at the University of St.Gallen. Applications from academic re-entrants are warmly welcomed. The entire team is involved in the selection process.
Your Tasks
- Support of the target agreement process (ZV) and the teaching needs and faculty planning (LFB) in close coordination between schools, HR controlling, financial controlling, and management PRF
- Data preparation for ZV and LFP, continuous further development of data management and processes; quality assurance and development
- Operational management of recruitment processes for professorships and lecturers at the university, content-related preparation and follow-up of the processes including the creation of documents for the university committees
- Advising the commission chairs and acting as an interface between the commission and candidates
- Participation in strategic projects of the Prorectorate
Your Profile
- Relevant experience in science management or own research experience
- Knowledge of the university context and academic career paths
- Good knowledge in the analysis and processing of large data sets
- Very good Excel skills, ideally also BI applications
- Completed university degree
- Strong solution-oriented and service-oriented attitude
- High flexibility and willingness to perform
- Targeted negotiation and communication skills
- Confidence in collaborating with different professional cultures and stakeholders
- Very good English and German language skills
- Participation in strategic projects of the Prorectorate
