Head of the "Water and Soils" Section
- SENE60
- You join the section whose mission is to ensure the qualitative and quantitative monitoring of water and soils while ensuring their protection.
You lead all the activities of the section and take the reins of a team of committed specialists. You plan and handle projects related to the protection of water and soils, missions that concretely shape the environmental future of our canton. Your knowledge in environmental sciences makes the difference: you support your specialists and guide technical choices. You supervise the SENE laboratory, lead the qualitative monitoring of water and soils, and orchestrate territorial organization and water sanitation measures. On a daily basis, you manage residual flows, plan the cantonal water supply, issue drilling permits, and process study permits for groundwater concessions. You develop integrated water management in the canton, participate in the development of the cantonal Climate Plan, and lead working groups. Your financial management skills allow you to optimize funding through the Cantonal Water Fund. Endowed with excellent communication skills, you represent our environmental policy during meetings with cantonal and municipal authorities and in inter-cantonal or binational working groups. As a member of the SENE management, you participate in the strategic orientations of the service.
Holder of a university master's degree, ETH or HES, or an equivalent qualification, you have at least 7 years of experience in one or more fields handled at SENE. This expertise gives you the legitimacy to effectively lead our strategic environmental challenges. You have already managed teams and know how to unite around a common vision. Your analytical and synthesis skills allow you to navigate the complexity of our files. You are comfortable taking initiatives, bearing responsibilities, and organizing your work as well as that of your section efficiently. Your natural interpersonal skills facilitate exchanges with diverse interlocutors.
Conscientious, precise, and systematic, you guarantee the quality of deliverables and rigorous project follow-up. You master French perfectly, both written and spoken. You read and converse in German without difficulty and understand technical English. These language skills are essential for your missions.
