Tasks and Responsibilities

• Measurement of air and surface contamination as well as radiation dose rate at workplaces
• Planning and determination of necessary radiation protection measures at workplaces in the controlled zone
• Establishment of radiation protection zones
• Clearance measurement of materials and tools for export from the controlled zone
• Carrying out daily/weekly routine checks and measurements inside and outside the controlled zone
• Documentation of activity and dose rate measurements
• Supervision of radiation protection relevant work in the controlled zone

Profile and Skills

• Completed vocational training in trade or industry
• Several years of professional experience
• Training as a radiation protection specialist or willingness to complete this training
• Experience in radiation protection and/or work in a nuclear power plant is an advantage
