Group Leader Occupational Therapy Geriatrics 80-100%

For the establishment and further development of our occupational therapy in the Center for Geriatrics and Palliative Care (65 beds), we are looking for a committed personality with joy in clinical work and organizational co-responsibility. Together with physiotherapy and the occupational therapy of the Center for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, you will actively develop our interprofessional therapy offer.

Leadership and organizational tasks

• Co-design and further development of the therapy offer and therapeutic processes
• Participation in recruitment and onboarding of new employees
• Support of therapy management in resource planning and team development
• Ensuring evidence-based therapy quality
• Participation in projects and concept development
• Promotion of knowledge transfer and interprofessional collaboration

Clinical activities:

• Treatment of geriatric patients
• ADL training to promote independence in everyday life
• Therapy of the upper extremities (function, mobilization, sensorimotor skills)
• Cognitive training
• Assessment and provision of assistive devices
• Assessment, goal setting, therapy planning, and documentation
• Close cooperation with nursing, medical staff, and other therapy teams

• Degree as occupational therapist BSc or equivalent recognized training in Switzerland (SRK)
• At least 2 years of professional experience, ideally in geriatrics, neurology, or MSK
• Interest in a combined clinical and leadership role
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
• High social competence, team orientation, and communication skills
• Commitment to quality, innovation, and further development
