PA Technician

Arxada in Visp is looking for a Process Analytics Technician. In this role, you are responsible for the installation and maintenance of process analysis devices and systems. You will work closely with the process analytics team, production, EHS, and workshops.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Ensuring optimal availability of process analysis devices as well as their safe and compliant installation and commissioning
• Maintenance of process analysis devices as an essential part of process safety, emissions monitoring, and controlled automated plant operation
• Main tasks include calibration of existing analysis devices, installation of analysis devices that meet the latest state of the art
• Responsible for timely and cost-efficient planning and execution of projects
• Responsible for precise safety- and quality-relevant PA equipment
   

Qualifications and experience:

• Completed training as a laboratory technician, electronics technician, mechatronics technician, or chemical technician
• Experience in the chemical industry is desirable
• Fluent German and good English skills
• Experience in process analytics is an advantage
• Experience in maintenance of spectrometers and GCs is a plus
• Sense of responsibility and decisiveness
• Independent working style and analytical thinking are essential for maintenance activities in the field
