Training Manager in the Care & Elderly Domain
The Training Center is looking for a training manager at a 30% activity rate for an open-ended contract. The starting date is scheduled for December 1, 2025, or to be agreed upon.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals, with one of its three missions being education.
The CHUV Training Center offers a wide range of courses to continuously enhance the skills of professionals in these institutions. The training aims both at developing professional skills - enabling everyone to approach their work with confidence - and at the excellence of services offered to patients and their relatives.
Training is one of the 5 pillars of the Hospital Adapted to the Elderly (HAdAs) program deployed at CHUV to improve care for the elderly, a priority at the institutional and cantonal level (Aging 2030).
Mission
- You are responsible for the Care & Elderly teaching domain
- You lead training engineering projects
- You deliver teaching in the domain
- You support the managerial performance of the Training Center
- You contribute to the continuous quality improvement of the Training Center.
Profile
- You hold a HES diploma in the care field or an equivalent qualification
- You have specialized, postgraduate, or master training in the care field or equivalent training
- You have training in pedagogy & didactics or other equivalent training, an asset
- You are comfortable speaking in public, dynamic, and adaptable
- You have good command of common IT tools (Microsoft Office)
- You have excellent organizational, writing, and interpersonal skills.
