Zweisimmen is located in the Bernese Oberland, nestled in a gentle, hilly landscape. Hiking and skiing areas are right outside the school door. Zweisimmen is easily accessible by public transport, with the train station in close proximity to the school.

Tasks
You will lead a newly to be opened 5th/6th mixed class (+/- 20 students) with all the responsibilities of a class teacher.
You will teach, if possible, the following subjects: NMG (Nature, Man, Society), German, French, English, Mathematics, Music, and Sports.
You will work constructively within the faculty and contribute to the development of the school.
Requirements
Ideally, you have a teaching diploma recognized by the EDK.
You are flexible, patient, and face the challenges of everyday school life positively.
You have a big heart for the students as well as empathy and understanding for their individual needs.
You possess team spirit and the ability to collaborate constructively with other teachers and the school team.

You will be supported and accompanied by the faculty, school management, and specialist teachers as a team.
At Volksschule Zweisimmen, we have a well-functioning school social work.
Regular further training sessions are offered on-site with the faculties of the Obersimmental.
The school building also lends itself to working outdoors (ski slope in immediate vicinity, forest within walking distance...)
