Your tasks & responsibilities

In this role, you will be a member of the agile development team and responsible for defining Stories and prioritizing the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the team. As a Project Owner, you will have a significant role in quality control and sole responsibility for accepting the stories as done.

Your main tasks will include:

• Responsibility for the Belimed Connectivity Platform consisting of a software in health environment which is the interface between our medical washing, disinfection and sterilizer devices and the environment like instrument tracking systems, hospital infrastructure management, dashboard clients and cloud applications.
• Overall platform responsibility (definition, quality, time, costs).
• Leading the development team in implementation and sustaining for a scaled agile framework by defining internal standards and processes, especially with regards to digital documentation, software deployment and feature management including aspects of cyber security and regulatory requirements for health software.
• Preparation and participation in Program Increment (PI) planning.
• Program iteration and execution including software release planning.
• Planning and execution of the Inspect and Adapt (IA) workshop and similar reviews.
• Strong interaction with external development partners, internal stakeholders and the internal development team consisting of system architects, requirements and test engineers and further specialists.
• Subject matter expert for cybersecurity aspects (guidelines, concepts, test execution) and related market requirements.
• Co-creation of software design, feature integration concepts and interface definitions.
• Collaboration with the Product Owners of the medical device control system.
• Technical support of market roll-out and customer onboarding activities.
• Active controlling for efficient use of available resources (internal and external persons, operational expenses).

Your Profile

• BSc or MSc in Information Technology or similar
• At least 3 years of experience in the development of software platforms and/or products as project manager, ideally in a mid-sized medical device company
• Strong experience in agile software development and testing including building and provisioning, Certification in Agile Software Development (SAFe) and experience with Cloud software products (IoT) is a plus
• Management of software features consisting of development, verification and deployment
• Experience with health software and its regulations (e.g. IEC 82304-1, IEC 62304, EN ISO 14971, IEC 62443) are an important advantage
• Very good analytical and conceptual skills; granularity adapted to the problem
• Fluent in English and German
• Profound experience in project and partner management, as well as the ability to interact with customers, contributors and partners
• Excellent coordination, communication and presentation skills, as well as a “Can-Do” mentality
