Employee Engagement Manager (m/f/d)

If you are a dynamic and strategic communicator with a passion for employee engagement and workplace culture, adept at creating compelling content, managing diverse initiatives, and fostering a positive, inclusive environment, this role could be for you:

Here's what you'll do:

  • Develop internal communication strategies to engage employees, strengthen the employer brand, and foster a positive workplace culture
  • Create engaging content for internal newsletters, emails, and other communications to inform employees about company news, initiatives and events
  • Moderate and generate content for weekly company meetings to ensure effective communication and alignment
  • Design and execute employee engagement programs, including team-building activities, wellness initiatives, buddy/mentor programs, and recognition events, to enhance morale and promote a sense of belonging
  • Establish feedback channels to solicit employee insights and address any concerns related to employer branding and communication
  • Monitor feedback and reviews on all channels and respond promptly
  • Collaborate with the Founders and cross-functional teams, including HR, marketing, and senior leadership, to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels
  • Implement diversity and inclusion initiatives, including training sessions and discussions
  • Manage intranet content to keep it up-to-date and accessible
  • Liaise with department heads to gather information for communication materials
  • Coordinate recognition programs to acknowledge and celebrate employee achievements and milestones
  • Maintain inventory and ensure timely delivery of new hire welcome packages and celebratory gifts to uphold a positive onboarding experience for all employees
  • Assist in organizing the onboarding week (SkyWeek) for new joiners, including coordinating travel and accommodations for international starters

Here's what you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or related roles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative and engaging communication strategies
  • Hands-on individual who thrives on executing initiatives
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to promoting diversity initiatives across the organisation
  • Experience in event planning and travel booking is an advantage
  • Fluent in English, German is considered as a plus
