About the role

We are seeking to appoint a highly dedicated teacher of Dance to establish the subject in the secondary school. The department is well resourced with two mirrored studio rooms and a large, well resourced, dedicated theatre space with a full-time technician.

With 6 specialists, students can currently opt to take Drama & Music at IGCSE and Music at A-Level. In the future we hope to expand this to also offer Dance qualifications and further the Drama provision into Year 13.

It is expected that there will also be a requirement to teach components of the PE curriculum in addition to Dance, until the Dance programme has been fully rolled out.
