The Technology & Operations Division designs and integrates software applications ranging from portfolio management systems and trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for some of the Group’s key innovations while at the same time sustaining business operations and developing custodian and fund administration services.

We are looking for a talented Java Technical Lead to join our Trading – Forex & Post-Trade team. The team's mission is to deliver high-performance, resilient, and innovative IT solutions to the FX Trading & Sales business.

Directly based on the trading floor in Geneva, this role is a great opportunity to gain extensive exposure to a wide range of Trading applications including price distribution, order management and trade processing for instruments such as FX Spot, FX Forwards, Precious Metal and NDF.

Your role

• Design, develop, test, and release high quality software solutions.


• Collaborate closely with key business stakeholders to gain a thorough understanding of their needs and deliver effective technical solutions.


• Participate in an Agile environment, working alongside team members such as architects, business analysts, and developers.


• Provide 3rd line application support and coordinate with infrastructure and production teams.


• Assure continuous improvement of the software development lifecycle as well as quality of the products; establish documentation.

Your profile

• University degree in Computer Science, or qualification deemed equivalent.


• Strong core Java development skills including design of multi-threaded and distributed applications.


• Experience with Spring, Oracle databases, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, middleware products.


• Familiarity with Docker, Angular 8, CICD tools, Atlassian suite.


• Experience in front-office environment and financial product knowledge are a plus.


• Fluent in English.


• Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.


• Part-time (not less than 80%) and working from home possible.
