Graduate Assistant in Plant Physiology




Introduction

Presentation

A PhD position (85%) will be available at the laboratory of Prof. C. Hardtke of the Department of Plant Molecular Biology. The candidate is expected to establish scurvy grass as an experimental system for plant adaptation to an extreme environment. Strongly motivated candidates who have demonstrated expertise in molecular biology, genetics and plant tissue culture are encouraged to apply. Bioinformatics skills are a plus. An M.Sc. degree is a requirement.


At least half of the working time will be dedicated to the doctoral research. The rest of the time will be dedicated to various academic functions including some teaching assistance of under graduate biology students.

Contract length : 1 year, renewable 2 x 2 years, maximum 5 years


Activity rate : 85%
