We are looking for an Operations Production Planner Vibe-X (m/f/d) for our location in Visp. You are responsible for the holistic operations planning in the first manufacturing facility combining Bioconjugation and Microbial Technology in one asset. This includes the coordination operational supporting activities such as production planning, resources and material management.. The continuous coordination and planning which is a cross-functional effort is done in collaboration with the Vibe-X Leadership team, Supply Chain and Material Management team, Program management and central logistic. 
 

Your tasks: 

• Responsible for the holistic operations planning for the Vibe-X project. Develop the planning strategy for the future commercial facility combining Bioconjugation and Microbial technology.  

• Development of an integrated plan to coordinate all operational activities, such as production preparation, production planning and post production, maintenance and calibration planning as well as the coordination of major and minor plant changes including qualification activities if required.  

• Coordination, support and planning of the tasks and requirements of the different areas such as Procurement Planning, Operations and Quality team, Maintenance and Engineering, Global Engineering and Lonza Services. 

• Develops and owns the Summary Production Schedule (SPS) which is driven by Supply Chain demand Planning and the Master Production Schedule (MPS). 

• Development of detailed plans for production planning, maintenance planning, resource planning and availability of plant and equipment preferably using Scheduler PRO.  

• Proactive development of strategies to anticipate or counteract possible future supply bottlenecks 

• Active development of measures to improve planning accuracy (process and system optimizations) 

• Development, maintenance and training/compliance on the scheduling tool/system and its use in executing operations in the facility. 

 Your Profile: 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in supply chain or biotechnology or corresponding training qualification 

• Several years of experience in supply planning in pharmaceuticals or biotechnology, or in planning other complex projects (e.g. CAPEX) 

• Professional experience in production environment (GMP) 

• English business fluent, German is a plus 

• Good SAP knowledge in the area of production planning in the pharmaceutical/process industry 

• Proficient knowledge of Office programs, especially MS Project 

• Experience on scheduling/capacity optimization programs is also desirable.
