Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and develop prototypes of mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software, with a focus on achieving and demonstrating key functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with other disciplines.
  • Support small-scale components and assembly design and production processes.
  • Utilize programming languages such as Matlab, Python, C++, and Arduino for scientific data analysis and small automation tasks.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to solve engineering challenges.

Your Profile:

  • Understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Prior experience or coursework related to mechanical engineering.
  • Proficient with CAD software, preferably Catia or NX, with a demonstrated "modelling track record" (e.g., Thingiverse page)
  • Familiar and experienced with 3D printing technologies and processes.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Matlab/Python for scientific data analysis, and C++/Arduino for small automation, with a demonstrated "coding track record" (e.g., Github repository).
