Our investment and business development teams in Climate Finance are offering an interesting opportunity for an internship. You would assume the role of a

Junior Analyst in Business Development Climate Finance Internship (4-6 months)

To make the most of this internship and have the opportunity to fully integrate into the team, you should have completed or be about to complete a relevant degree and already have some practical experience that you can build on during the period offered.

Your main tasks will be in assisting in the development of new climate finance initiatives.

Your Main Tasks

  • Support the team in assessing new fund opportunities related to climate finance which includes amongst others, designing investment strategies, drafting business proposals as well as doing selected financial modelling
  • Conduct research on climate related sectors, including competition, regulation and market players
  • Prepare meetings, information notes and documentation, including power point presentations, for internal and external clients
  • Assist in the preparation of relevant market information as part of investment proposals for specific transactions
  • Follow up on outstanding items and general support of the team as required

Your Experience and Skills

  • Degree (ideally Masters or advanced Masters' student) in economics, finance, or business administration
  • Between 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in finance, project management, business development or consulting or at least a completed internship in a similar business
  • Masterful application of MS office suite, mainly PowerPoint and Excel; financial modelling skills would be an advantage
  • Strong spoken and written English on business level
  • Results oriented, creative, curious and organized mindset with a high degree of initiative, reliability as well as willingness and ability to learn
  • Good communication skills with a team oriented personality and the ability to operate in an international team and business environment
