Team Leader Material Planning
Purpose
Team Leader Material Planning ensures the training, performance and organizational aspects of his team. She/He is responsible for the processes and monitoring of KPIs in the Procurement department.
Team Leader Material Planning manages and ensures in an operational way the daily supply flows of Leclanché, validates the consistency of supplies, conducts and coordinates supplies with purchasing, planning, manufacturing, and assembly. Taking into account stock levels, firm and planned needs, she/he analyses risks and contributes to the implementation of the necessary actions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensures professional conduct of procurement that guarantees that products, modules, items, and services are provided adequately and in accordance with the terms negotiated by the buyer with suppliers (respect for sources of supply).
- Manages the Material Planner team by planning, execution, verification, coaching and development. Sets up and monitors operating routines/processes.
- Ensures procurement activities are in compliance with deadlines, specifications, versions of technical specifications, as well as standards (methodology) and quality procedures.
- Develops with purchasing, procurement strategies and implements the necessary actions to improve them (deadline, communication, external and internal stock levels, presentation of the performance results of its suppliers).
- Schedules shipments and receipts (complete supply chain from the supplier to the point of delivery). In an emergency context, knows how to show composure and hindsight in order to best manage the imponderables (failure of a supplier, problem encountered with a carrier).
- Analyzes the forecast (S&OP and MPS) and ensures an volume of orders in line with the capacity of Leclanché suppliers and needs.
- Ensures a stock level and availability of components, with the responsibility of managing its "supplier portfolio" both on the stock level and on the service rate.
- Ensures the configuration and regular update of the ERP: procurement policy (PTS, PTO), lead time, security stock, supplier conditions, price conditions, MOQ, grouping period.
- Provides support to the SQE (Supply Quality Engineer) regarding supplier non-conformities.
- Is the guarantor of compliance with the validation processes (Procure To Pay) & Grant of Authority.
- Is the procurement function representative to internal customers (project tracking, service level, escalation in case of emergency).
- Participates in the implementation of KPIs and ensures their follow-up.
Skills & Experience
- Education: Business School or Higher, CFC business or technical (with a specialization in Purchasing - Logistics)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in team management
- 5 -10 years of experience in the field of purchasing / procurement / subcontracting / logistics
- Mastery of ERP
- Very good knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
