We help large industrial companies save 3-5% off their energy and raw material spend, with a combination of market trend predictions and operational cost/constraint optimization. Datapred is one of the leading startups in the exciting new segment of Digital Procurement. Datapred was named a Cool Vendor in Sourcing & Procurement Application by Gartner, a Top 50 Company to Watch by Spend Matters, and won the machine learning for time series challenge organized by Airbus in 2019. We are based in Lausanne and Paris, and to support our growth and strengthen the team, we are looking for a native German-speaking Account Executive Your Mission In that role, you are developing new opportunities and winning new business for Datapred in the DACH region ( Germany, Switzerland and Austria ). You own the prospect/client relationship. You guide prospects along their buying journey, from initial contact to software installation, qualifying interest and demonstrating value at every step. You have a talent for prospecting and finding new business. You master in account planning and highly skilled for complex and political sales process –working across many different parts of the prospect/client organization, engaging multiple stakeholders and building trust. You will use the full spectrum of modern B2B sales tools: emails, phone calls, videoconferences, presentations, in-person meetings, events, pilots… You will diligently record progress in Datapred’s CRM software. Skills Complex tech B2B sales: Datapred is a sophisticated machine learning software. The use case is clear, the benefits are directly measurable… but the software won’t sell like a $10K per year SaaS solution.Mastering the complex sales process is key. Prospecting: Datapred is a startup. We are in conquest mode. You won’t have the comfort of mainly selling to existing accounts (although upselling is definitely part of the plan). Process-oriented: The more scalable the sales process you help us build, the greater the opportunities and rewards in that Account Executive role. An interest for quantitative analysis: You won’t have to master the intricacies of the Datapred software (we have a team of pre-sales engineers to help you with that), but understanding the capabilities/limitations of the software and matching them to client needs will greatly help. An interest for “hard-core industry”: Our prospects and clients are hard-core manufacturing and chemical companies. You will have a lot of fun in the role if you are naturally curious for such production processes. Languages: Native German speaker. English and French would be nice.
