Job Description:

Join Cortexia as a Data Scientist and drive our Data Team in an agile environment. Collaborate with DevOps and clients and engage deeply in projects involving data analysis, machine learning and computer vision. Your role will involve handling and building data pipelines, from dataset creation to model deployment.

Tasks :

  • Conception :
    • Translate client requirements and team needs into actionable solutions. Estimate resources for proposed solutions.
    • Identify and implement shortcuts to reduce time-to-market and development costs.
  • Development :
    • Conduct analysis, modeling, testing, and deployment.
    • Ensure scalability, backward compatibility, and interoperability.
  • Delivery :
    • Adhere to the ‘Definition of Done’ agreed upon with the team and clients.
  • Continuous Improvement :
    • Participate in retrospectives to enhance processes.
    • Lead change according to the evolution of the state of the art and feedback from the open-source community.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Adapt and deploy state-of-the-art models.
  • Perform automatic testing.
  • Maintain and enrich training and test datasets.
  • Set up data pipelines and visualizations.
  • Continuously assess performance.
  • Conduct data inspection, analysis, cleaning, and statistical evaluations.
  • Develop solutions that scale to accommodate new clients, applications, and data.
  • Lead client-oriented projects and discover new application cases.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in deep learning (models, frameworks, etc.).

Qualifications :

  • Education :
    • Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience :
    • Industrial experience is a plus.

    • Proficiency in machine learning and computer vision.
    • Proven experience in programming in Python.
    • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (Pytorch, Tensorflow, etc.) and main data science libraries (Scikit, Pandas, etc.).
    • Experience with visualization tools.
    • Familiarity with code versioning tools (Git).
    • Knowledge of APIs (e.g., REST) and databases (e.g., PostGis).
  • Languages :
    • Fluent in English.
    • Intermediate French.
    • German or other languages are a plus.

Working conditions :

  • Environment : Flexible office and remote working.
  • Hours : 60% to 100%.
