Within Siemens Smart Infrastructure, you will be part of our Buildings Business Unit, which brings together the full portfolio of products, software and services for buildings and adjacent infrastructure.
In our quest to revolutionize the world's infrastructure, we are seeking an experienced EHS Professional with strong expertise in Product related Environmental Protection, for our Environmental Protection, Health Management and Safety Organization, within our SI Buildings business unit.

Location: This position will be in Zug, Switzerland
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting our EHS team by managing and coordinating product-related environmental protection (PrEP) activities across our diverse portfolio of building products, services, and software solutions. This includes managing IT projects, supporting countries on PrEP topics, and other monitoring activities to ensure legal compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with our corporate environmental objectives.
Your new responsibilities
- Driving and coordinating SI B specific project teams with various stakeholders including e.g. Procurement, R&D, IT and Product Management on PrEP matters to fulfill product requirements and ensure legal compliance with global and local regulations (e.g. EU REACH / RoHS, China RoHS, CSRD)
- Contributing in Siemens cross functional activities: Ensuring SI B is well represented in global projects / meetings (e.g. regular PrEP JF, Unicorn, CSRD working group, PPWR working group, etc.)
- Data collection and quality checks - Guidance, monitoring and establishing solutions to automize PrEP data collection and quality checks
- Increasing SoC transparency - Driving increased transparency on substances of concern (SoC) across SI B portfolio, including third party products
- EU Taxonomy: Implementation of EU Taxonomy requirements together with R&D for product alignments e.g. process support, including SoC substitution checks, justification for ongoing use
- Robust Eco Design (RED) integration - together with SI B PRO you support the implementation of Robust Eco Design (RED) in our products
- Training activities - Train internal stakeholders (e.g. R&D, Product Managers, etc.) on environmental requirements, standards and legal requirements
Your talents and experience
- Master's degree in environmental Engineering, Environmental science or comparable
- Sound knowledge in the Buildings technology industry, with Siemens/ comparable portfolio preferably
- A minimum of 3 years' proven experience in PrEP is required
- Have a knowledge of environmental standards (ISO 14020, 14040 series)
- Be knowledgeable of environmental regulations (REACH, RoHS, POPs, Chinese Regulations, etc.)
- Advanced database management
- Affinity for IT tools and AI solutions
- Change management and digital transformation mindset
- Experience with MS Office suite and data analysis tools
- Deep analytical and collaborative mindset
- Strong team player, extensive collaboration and project management skills
- Fluent in English, German skills would be preferable
