The Account Manager Intermediaries (AM) takes ownership of the account administration, documentation formalities and tasks in daily operations and projects impacting the account administration.
The responsibilities include order placement, handling of client requests, execution of trades and providing administrative support to the team.
In contrast to the Relationship Manager (RM), the AM does not have an own client book. The AM reaches out to clients where appropriate in close collaboration with the RM.
He/she demonstrates excellent professional, personal as well as social skills when liaising with clients and the RM.
The AM ensures the operational client account management and interacts with internal as well as external stakeholders independently, provides clients with relevant information and supports the RM in implementing customized solutions. Furthermore, the AM acts as role model in bringing the best service quality to clients, RMs and Group Head (GH) in a fast, professional and friendly manner, and thus, helping the team to manage and grow its current client base.
He/she channels client feedback to the relevant individuals and departments within the Bank to foster continuous improvement and fast adaptation of processes. The AM shows professional commitment to ensuring excellent administration of the account, to clients as well as to the Bank and is willing to go the extra mile.
IHRE AUFGABEN
Client Administration & Management
- Supports the RMs and the team in client interactions in all respects
- Responds to incoming calls and takes prompt action
- Maintains and updates records of client instructions, details, and preferences
- Creates system-based reports for the RMs
- Provides clients with verbal and/or written information and data, giving neither advice nor any statement of opinion as value judgement
- Handles and executes clients’ requests by processing orders, trades, transactions and, payments (outside e-channels)
Business Management
- Manages the internal projects which impact the account relationships of an RM, directly solving the administrative issues that arise and ensuring that all relevant systems are maintained and updated and all documentation collected as necessary
- Collects and shares relevant information, ideas, findings and research with colleagues to improve processes and to increase productivity and quality
- Conducts reviews, plans ahead and documents his/her own work at all times
- Provides professional input proposals for improvements based on experience, incident occurrence or observation
Risk Management
- Full adherence at all times to compliance, legal guidelines, internal rules, regulations and policies
- Acts as the first line of risk defence, through raising concerns, following up on issues and escalating as necessary
YOUR PROFILE
- Proven track record in servicing banking clients with complex needs (on boarding of new clients, maintaining and extending current relationships)
- Sound affinity with the Middle East, i.e. familiar with the legal and regulatory environment as well as cultural awareness
- Excellent organisational skills, able to work swiftly, independently within the Account Manager’s scope and accurately even when under pressure
- Proactive, friendly, team player and solutions oriented
- Impeccable presentation and communication skills
- Highly service oriented and passionate about client servicing
- Strong integrity, ethics, and risk awareness combined with solid client-focused mindset
- Advanced knowledge of global financial markets and current developments in the industry
- Strong fluency in French and English (oral and written). Additional language an asset
- Very good MS Office skills
