About the Role
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Sales Intern to join our Geneva-based sales team. This internship offers the opportunity to gain real-world experience in a collaborative and multilingual environment, with a strong focus on lead generation, CRM management, pipeline hygiene, and sales strategy support.
You'll work closely with our local sales and marketing teams, supporting day-to-day activities and gaining valuable exposure to sales operations, market analysis, and account strategy. For the right candidate, this internship could lead to a career path toward a Sales Manager role—we're ready to mentor and grow the next generation of sales talent!
This is an internship for 6 months in Geneva, with our local Sales Manager leading you.
Here are some of exciting tasks awaiting you:
- Account Strategy Research: Deep-dive analysis for Tier 1 accounts with sales reps.
- Market & Competitor Insights: Dive into industry trends and competitor moves to help us spot new opportunities.
- Take ownership of Tier 2 accounts under guidance and help drive them forward.
- Lead Generation & Appointment Booking: Identify prospects, support outreach, and help schedule sales meetings.
- Reports & Dashboards: Create and maintain dashboards that help us track key sales metrics and celebrate team wins.
- Keeping Our Sales Pipeline in Shape: Maintain data accuracy and ensure the CRM reflects current opportunities.
- CRM Database Maintenance: Clean and update contact records, accounts, and lead status.
- Webinar & Event Support: Collaborate with marketing to segment accounts/contacts, invite participants, and track engagement.
- Commission Data Support: Help gather and verify data related to sales commissions.
- Sales Support: Assist in preparing materials, presentations, and follow-ups for client engagements.
A mix of the following is the person we are looking for:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English and French, German is a plus
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, experiences with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) are a plus
- Comfortable working with data and dashboards
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a can-do attitude and a customer-first mindset
