Junior CAD and Lean Improvement Assistant

Description

• Identify tooling needs on each production cell in collaboration with team leaders.
• Document and standardize tool requirements across work areas.
• Design 5S foam layouts using on?site CAD software.
• Place orders for foam inserts based on approved designs.
• Implement and validate foam solutions upon delivery.
• Support Lean Management initiatives on efficiency, flow, and waste reduction.
• Contribute to workstation organization and visual management updates.
• Observe workflows and suggest simple improvement opportunities.
• Maintain proper documentation of all implemented changes.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure smooth adoption of new standards.

Profile

• Junior engineering graduate or early?stage engineering student.
• Basic experience or comfort with CAD tools (internal training provided).
• Strong interest in Lean methodologies and operational optimization.
• Practical, hands?on mindset with readiness to engage directly on the shop floor.
• Organized, reliable, and attentive to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with team leaders.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn quickly.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
