Java Software Engineer (80-100%)

We focus on developing and maintaining high-quality technology products for our Repo (REPO Trading Platform) customers.
What You Will Do
- provide production support for the CO:RE system and Repo Trading Platform to ensure stable and continuous operation
- work in a cross-functional agile team to analyze requirements, develop new features, and implement system improvements
- document technical solutions and architecture to ensure clarity and consistency across the team
- contribute to the implementation of DevOps practices, including automation, monitoring, and infrastructure as code
- participate in on-call duty rotations (approximately 5–6 weeks per year) to support live systems
What You Bring
- extensive Java experience (5+ years) with modern 3-layer web architecture and frameworks like Spring, Quarkus, JEE, and Hibernate/JPA
- solid knowledge of modern software development tools and practices (e.g., Scrum, Docker, OpenShift, CI/CD, Domain-Driven Design)
- proven experience in production support, following ITIL best practices for incident and change management
- strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot under pressure and deliver quick, effective solutions
- excellent teamwork and communication skills, with fluency in English (German is a plus)
