HSE Specialist 80 - 100% (f/m/d)

For our client - a well-established and internationally active industrial company - we are currently looking for a reliable and experienced HSE Specialist for a direct permanent position, starting immediately or by agreement.

Your Tasks

• You ensure full compliance with Swiss occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations while implementing internal company policies and standards at the local site.
  
• You support and advise all levels of the organization in fulfilling their responsibilities related to occupational safety, health, and environmental management.
  
• You conduct opportunity and risk assessments and implement necessary measures together with relevant stakeholders.
  
• You actively promote a strong quality and safety culture and drive employee-engagement programs in close collaboration with the local HSE team, including conducting training across all hierarchy levels in line with the site's HSE Competence Matrix.
  
• You investigate incidents, communicate findings, and ensure that effective preventive measures are put in place.
  
• You plan and conduct internal and external audits in accordance with ISO 9001/45001, as well as internal company HSE standards.
  
• You prepare and implement the annual Site HSE Plan and develop additional HSE-related documentation such as the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan.
  
• You prepare reports for internal and external project reviews and ensure that the company's HSE operating system remains suitable, adequate, and effective.
  
• You review HSE documentation from subcontractors and support them in meeting internal and external HSE requirements.
  

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree or technical training in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering.
  
• Professional HSE certification based on Swiss legislation is mandatory.
  
• At least 7 years of experience in HSE roles within a process-manufacturing environment.
  
• Proven ability to create and maintain technical HSE documentation.
  
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in international teams.
  
• Self-driven, proactive, and collaborative mindset.
  
• Strong stakeholder-management and influencing abilities.
  
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
