We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Service Manager to oversee our field service operations. This role requires a strong understanding of field service management to ensure seamless customer experiences and collaboration with local partners worldwide.

YOUR MISSION
1. Team Management
  • Supervise and lead a team of field service technicians.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Manage schedules and assignments in collaboration with the dispatcher.
  • Evaluate performance for the team.
  • Ensure positive absorption of FST cost and utilization rate.
  • Ensure a systematic review and follow-up of reports with professional communication from the field to internal stakeholders.
  • Address team development through workforce planning, collaborating with corresponding partners.
2. Operational Oversight
  • Coordinate field service activities to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and customer expectations.
  • Monitor metrics such as customer satisfaction for the department according to group policies and implement improvements as needed.
  • Implement efficient processes and procedures to optimize operations and enhance customer experiences.
3. Customer Service
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalated customer issues or technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with BCCs to understand the customers' technical needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Proactively address customer feedback and work to exceed expectations in field service interactions.
4. Resource Management
  • Manage inventory, logistics, and technical resources to support field service activities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, such as logistics, procurement, and engineering, to address technical issues and optimize resource allocation.
5. Collaboration with Local Partners
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with local partners worldwide.
  • Collaborate with local partners to ensure efficient deployment of field service technicians.
6. Technical Expertise
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to field service technicians.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to ensure effective troubleshooting and support.
  • Assist in resolving complex technical issues and contribute to the development of technical documentation and training materials.
  • Secure and transfer knowhow through a knowhow management, following group standards such as SAPJam (Wikis).
7. Safety and Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in field service operations.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize risks to technicians and customers.


YOUR PROFILE
  • Knowledge in both German and English is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in field service management roles.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of field service management software.
  • Understanding of technical concepts.
