The residents seem to be truly comfortable and feel at home, which is essential in a nursing home. The setting is well-maintained and welcoming. The level of hospitality is particularly high for a nursing home: the presentation and professional image are impressive. It is clear that the establishment is positioned in the high-end segment, with a desire to offer a high-quality, almost luxurious environment to its residents.

On the other hand, working conditions are difficult: frequent understaffing, heavy workloads, and a lack of managerial support. Integrating new employees can be complicated due to limited support and a lack of follow-up during the trial period. Communication within the team is also a problem. Although many employees speak French fluently, many communicate with each other in another language, even during working hours. This can make people who only speak French feel excluded and make integration more difficult. Communication is sometimes lacking in directness and transparency. In my personal experience, they decided to terminate my contract during my trial period. This decision was communicated to me by phone, outside of working hours, without a prior face-to-face meeting. In my opinion, a formal discussion would have been more respectful and professional. More hands-on management, more inclusive communication, and greater recognition of staff would significantly improve the employee experience.
